The North Texas Food Bank needs your help at our fifth annual HARVEST fundraiser! This event helps NTFB raise significant funds needed to provide food for its vital Feeding Children and Feeding Seniors initiatives. This will be an evening of great music, unique auction packages, and a movable open-air feast from Dallas’ top chefs and food purveyors.
Every year our volunteers do a wonderful job by helping make this event a huge success.
Join in on the fun while doing good!
Duties: Sign up as an individual or email NTFB to sign up a group. Duties will be assigned the evening of the event and tasks will include:
- Help with guest check-in (Volunteers will be asked to use IPads for check-in)
- Auction assistance
- Assist chef stations
- Basic troubleshooting
- Some lifting
We are looking for volunteers who are ready to be on their feet and interact with excited guests at the Dallas Arboretum! Individuals, couples and groups are welcome to sign up.
Time Requirement: Please be sure that you are able to commit to the start and entirety of the shift before signing up.
Age Requirement: All volunteers must be 21 years of age or older

Founded in 1982, the North Texas Food Bank (NTFB) is a Dallas nonprofit hunger relief organization that distributes donated, purchased and prepared foods through a network of more than 262 Food Assistance Partners in 13 counties. As a member of Feeding America, we support the nutritional needs of children, families and seniors through education, advocacy and strategic partnerships.
We strive to be the best nonprofit. Including access provided through SNAP application services, NTFB provides access to nearly 175,000 nutritious meals every day. ReThink Hunger is our three-year initiative to provide healthier food, develop new ways to extend our reach and improve the lives of those we serve.
