Theater majors and extroverts can ham it up as the Community Blood Center blood drop mascot and/or Community Outreach volunteer at fairs, parades, blood drives and other community events. Mascots and Community Outreach volunteers bring attention to our drives and raise awareness of blood shortages. They are an important part of the team that helps save thousands of lives every year in our community through blood donation.
Volunteers can also help with Community and Blood Drive registration events. Volunteers must submit an application, participate in an interview, background check and orientation. Volunteers are asked to commit to at least 12 hours of service within the first 6 months following orientation. Minimum age: 14
