Looking to volunteer and network with health professionals from all across the state of Texas? Come volunteer for the Healthier Texas Summit! We will have a special guest as our keynote speaker, the 20th Surgeon General of the United States Vice Admiral Jerome Adams.

For the summit, we ask our volunteers to help out for one day and they'll be provided complimentary registration to attend the summit the other day. If they're unable to make the full day, we will work with those who are looking for partial hours. Parking will be provided on the day(s) you volunteer. Lunch will also be provided on the day(s) you volunteer. However, if there's any dietary restrictions, we strongly suggest to bring your own meal.

We are looking for volunteers to be session/room monitors, greeters, table hosts, and ushers. Volunteers may be shuffled around all roles if needed. As a bonus, our volunteers will receive a volunteer t-shirt to wear during the summit!

Mission Statement

We’re a nonprofit organization working to unite and accelerate the health movement in Texas and beyond. Our mission is to empower people to lead healthier lives and build healthier communities.

Description

IT’S TIME TEXAS is a first-of-its-kind cause organization whose mission is to empower people to lead healthier lives and build healthier communities. You’ve heard it before--Texas and the nation are staring down a true health crisis. Thousands of individuals, institutions, and organizations have stepped up to take action, but those efforts are often siloed and lack critical support. A cause organization is needed to unite and accelerate these disparate efforts so that we can outpace and reverse the crisis. IT’S TIME TEXAS is that organization, and together, we will make healthy the norm in Texas and beyond.
