Michigan Pet Fund Alliance is seeking two event photographers to document our animal welfare conference at the Radisson Hotel in Kalamazoo on Thursday, September 27 and Friday, September 28.

Day 1: Thursday, September 27 - 7:30am-6pm

  • 1 General Session with Keynote Speaker (Dr. Marty Becker)
  • 23 Breakout Sessions
  • 1 Beer & Pretzels Roundtables
Day 2: Friday, September 28 - 7:30am-5:30pm
  • 3 General Sessions
  • 20 Breakout Sessions

We would like to get photos of all sessions, along with candids of our attendees. There will not be any animals at this event.

We are also looking for volunteers to videotape the sessions and edit them into individual clips that we can post on our YouTube channel and Facebook page.

This is an unpaid position, but we can offer complimentary lunch and snacks on both days.

All photos would become the property of Michigan Pet Fund Alliance.

Description

Michigan Pet Alliance (MPA) is a nonprofit association of Michigan’s animal welfare organizations and pet advocates. We work together to ensure every Michigan animal shelter, home-based foster rescue organization, and all other groups/organizations providing services to companion animals operate using industry best practices. Uniting our voices we speak for those who cannot speak for themselves to create state and local laws/regulation which improve care and eliminate cruelty for all companion animals.
