(18+, 14+ with an adult) Join fellow trail enthusiasts--hikers, bikers, and equestrians--to maintain and build new trail at Carvins Cove. These workdays will be administered by Roanoke Parks and Recreation and will work on maintenance projects as well as new construction. Roanoke Parks and Recreation will provide the tools, just show up with sturdy shoes, water, work gloves, and some excitement to create and maintain the trails in our valley. If you can't make any of these dates but are still interested in trail work in the area, visit www.greenways.org or www.roanokeimba.org for more dates and opportunities. Volunteers under 18 will need a parent or guardian present.
