Please visit the new page to apply.
We’re looking for local people willing to serve as trustees on YMCA Doncaster’s Board.
Our meetings focus on the YMCA’s Governance issues; policies, finances and updating our forward plans.
There are also opportunities to learn about the YMCA’s day-to-day work, and to offer support as a critical friend to our Chief Executive.
So long as you’re over 18, there’s no age barrier. We welcome men and women of all faiths and of none. Our present Board would be very happy to offer support to those who are new.
Your wisdom and experience could make a real difference to young lives. Please consider joining us.

Mission Statement
Our Vision is to create places and programmes where all young people can truly belong, contribute and thrive.
Description
We’re an independent charity, bringing together local people and organisations to support young lives in Doncaster.
Our work is led by our Board of Governors and carried out by a small team of staff and volunteers.
We focus on meeting the needs of the town’s most vulnerable young people, and the core of our work is in providing support with finding a home and leading a responsible adult life. Our main priority is our Supported Accommodation for 30 young people.
We’ve been working in Doncaster for over 150 years, always adapting to respond to young people and their changing needs.
