We are expanding our program to provide additional opportunities for all children, regardless of income, to experience a high quality free Pre K Education. We seek professional assistance with business development, donor management, grant writing, and fundraising. Pa Keystone Stars no longer offers merit awards to high quality programs, creating a loss of $38,000 funding each year. Seeking to create, plan, grow, and continue offering high quality care and education to children ages 0-10. We are providing free openings to meet the needs of local grandparents, who are raising their own grandchildren, affected by the current opioid crisis.

Mission Statement
Aardvark Child Care and Preschool believes no child should be hungry. By providing nutritious meals, that are well balanced, we can support children while they grown and learn. All meals are provided free of charge, and lunch is always served as a hot meal. For some children this is their main source of healthy and nutritious food. Additionally, we support children being active with outdoor games. We have two locations - Primos, PA 19018 and Glen Mills, PA 19342.
Description
We seek to provide an enjoyable and well balanced breakfast, hot lunch, and snacks for children. Many of our children arrive very hungry and do not experience fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and home cooked meals. Fast and junk food is often what they recieve outside of school. Because we offer meals at no cost we seek volunteers to assist with meal preparation, service, and meal planning. During the summer months we seek volunteers to plant gardens with our children and teach them about growing fresh foods. We would love to offer and hot breakfast option for our children, this requires additional staff each morning from 7am to 9am Monday thru Friday. If you are passionate about cooking, food service, gardening, nutrition, or menu planning on a budget we would love to hear from you!
