We’re looking for an organized, personable, and motivated Director of Human Resources to help support our quickly expanding team of volunteers. As the Director of HR, you will be the face of our organization and the first person potential new team members meet. In an online initiative with 20+ staff members, your ability to keep track of the various areas of our organization will have a huge impact on our success - or not!
Responsibilities:
- Lead the Human Resources team, which will focus on ensuring that vacant staff positions are filled quickly, staff members are engaged, and volunteers are properly trained and supported.
- Oversee the interview and onboarding process for new staff members
- Help to improve the interconnectedness of the organization’s sub-teams by launching new HR initiatives
- Minimize staff member and volunteer turnover by ensuring that both groups are properly supported.
Qualifications:
- Highly organized
- Excellent writing, presentation, and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal/relationship building skills
- (Bonus) Event planning or recruitment experience
