The Portland VegFest is coming up October 5th and 6th! The Portland VegFest is Oregon's premier plant-based food and lifestyle event (think veggie comic-con) vendors, speakers, activities, lots of free samples. Great event to put on your calendar and you can get in FREE both days if you volunteer!
We are looking for dedicated volunteers to help make the Portland VegFest awesome, and that's where you come in. We need help with various roles and shifts during the entire weekend of October 4th-6th and on Monday after at the Oregon Convention Center. The average volunteer shift is about 3 hours, so you have plenty of time to enjoy the event!
Sign up to volunteer at Portland VegFest and get FREE admission to BOTH days! Just click the volunteer sign up link, sign up and you're all set! VegFest sign up link: volunteersignup.org/7XDWJ

Mission Statement
The mission of NW VEG is to educate and empower people to make vegetarian choices for a healthy, sustainable, and compassionate world.
Description
More and more people are choosing vegetarian foods for a variety of reasons. Going veg is not about deprivation, it's about celebration. It's a very powerful choice to respect your body, the earth and other beings. Every veg meal is a vote for compassion, for healthy, nutritious food, for clean air and water, biodiverse habitats and sustainable farming practices. There are lots of reasons to choose to eat veg! Everybody has a different one!
