AccentCare Hospice & Palliative Care is looking for Certified Pet Therapy Animals who are wanting to visit with our patients and families of Pinellas County! Your pet can be certifiable through any agency, if the agency provides a behavioral assessment, liability insurance, and annual certification :)
What does a Certified Pet Therapy Animal do?
Certified pet therapy animals provide companionship to many of our patients & families while living in a nursing home or assisted living facility, in one Hospice units or in the patients home. Many of our patients are missing their own pets and truly benefit from having these one-on-one visits. As a certified pet therapy volunteer, you can expect patients to happily interact with your animal, while sharing many laughs & smiles!
We have patients throughout Pinellas County, FL and can coordinate visits close to your home/office. Schedule is flexible.
