AccentCare Hospice & Palliative Care is looking for Sewing Volunteers who want to help us create unique items for our patients and families of Pinellas County! So, if you love to sew and work on items that will be cherished by our families for a lifetime, please consider joining us for this unique and fun project!
What does a Sewing Volunteer do?
Sewing Volunteers create unique one-of-a-kind keepsakes for our family!
Some items you can create are:
- Memory Bears or Memory Pillows: These are Teddy-Bears or Pillows that are created for the family from the clothing of a loved one.
- Fidget Lap-Quilts, Pillows, or Mats: These items help provide stimulation and activity for our Alzheimer & Dementia patients. These items include a variety of charms, buttons, zippers, etc. (see photo below)
