Choose how you want to get involved in the Aga Khan Foundation (AKF) Walk|Run taking place October 13th at Frisco Square. Check out our event page at https://www.akfusa.org/dallaswalk/.
Day of Walk|Run Time Commitment: 6:00 am - 9:00 am
OPPORTUNITIES: Roles and Responsibilities
Route Monitors-
- Directing runners and keeping them safe along the route
- Providing hydration support, moral support and excitement!
- Keeping the excitement and momentum going on course
- Greet the runners when they cross the finish line
- Cleaning up the area when the last runner passes
Registration Volunteers -
- Checking in registered runners and provide bib
- Registering new runners and print/provide bib
- Providing race information
- Directing runners to start line
- Note - Registration volunteers will be expected to attend at least one training before the day of the race. Trainings will take place on September 23 at 10 am and September 27 at 7:30 pm.
