Our Affordable Housing Community, Rosewood Court, has recently started a food program for the residents in the community. The Food Pantry Lead volunteer will assist our Residential Coordinators with recruiting and managing volunteers for the food programs.

Time Commitment: 4-6 hours per week, 2 nd and 4 th Thursdays: 8:30-1:00 Mobile Food Pantry, 1 st and 3 rd Thursdays: 9:30-12:30 CSFP (Senior Food Boxes)

Tasks: This volunteer will help coordinate volunteer sign-ups for the mobile pantry and the senior food box distribution to run smoothly, including:

· Assist resident coordinator in recruiting and volunteers

· Assist resident coordinator in training volunteers

· Schedule and confirm volunteers for assigned times

Pitch in and assist volunteers as needed with:

· Greet and Sign guests in

· Assist guests in application process/updating paperwork

· Help with set up of food pantry

· Help with tear-down and clean up of food pantry:

o stacking pallets neatly near door

o sweep floor

o take spoiled food/cardboard to dumpster
