The Refugee Education and Training Center is beginning a sewing program for the refugee women who have completed our Level One sewing class. This new class will take place every other Saturday from 2pm-5pm, starting March of 2020. Some weekday opportunities exist for volunteers unable to offer time on weekends! Students will be learning alteration and repairs skills. We are in need of skilled sewing volunteers to help our students in a one-on-one or group capacity during class, assisting with troubleshooting and questions.
