Put your skills to use! This is a perfect position for anyone who wants to get more involved, to put your people, organizational, or administrative skills to good use. Coordinators are the backbone of our organization, helping to ensure that meals get out to over 1,000 homebound individuals each day. But, just requires a few hours once a week or once every other week.

Volunteer Site Coordinators work from one of our 16 delivery sites across the Metro Tulsa area, greeting volunteers and helping to organize delivery routes on the scheduled day that they choose. One of the primary roles of a Coordinator is to communicate with the office about volunteers, routes, and Meals on Wheels recipients. We try to pair up coordinators and spend as much time as desired in training. Time involved about 2-4 hours, usually between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. Volunteers usually work one day a week or less - they choose the day.
