English Learning Center (ELC) is an all volunteer school for teaching English. ELC is seeking an individual who likes to meet new volunteers, comfort new students and assist our teachers and teacher assistants get ready for classroom instruction. We are looking for one or more individuals to share the daily duties. Our school is open from 9:00 am to 12:00 am Monday through Thursday. We are located at 2122 S. Lafayette St in Denver. We are near the DU Campus.
Our students come from more than 20 different countries and speak more than 12 different languages. Our volunteer teachers are former lawyers, business people, language teachers, medical professionals and many others. This is a very social position involving face to face communications, telephone calling and emailing or texting.

Description
We are an English Language school that provides classes to anyone who want to improve their english skills. We are a very affortable program that offers classes for less than $1.00 an hour. Our classes are Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays in the morning from 9:30 until 11:30. We have served more than 1500 students from over 35 countries. All of our teachers and assistants are volunteers and come from backgrounds as varies as law, medicine, social work, information technology, social work, teaching and many others. We welcome everyone to come visit our school and see our program.
