ORGANIZATION: LINC Housing

Being aware of available resources and programs in the community is a great way for seniors to improve or maintain positive health and receive needed support. LINC Housing provides affordable housing communities and supportive services to low-income families, seniors and the formerly homeless. You can make a difference by giving back to our senior community!

We are searching for local agencies, organizations, companies and community volunteers to host a table or activity at our SEASONS at La Palma senior community. We are looking to develop a monthly community health fair during our grocery distribution day and set up resource booths for senior residents. Booths can provide resources or distribute important health & well-being information with raffles, games, and more. Seniors love giveaways! Our goal is to offer our seniors a farmers market setup that provides health fair resources, including:

  • Resources & Information(Health & Well-being, available senior programs, leisure activities)
  • Cooking demonstrations or nutritional workshops
  • Activities/Engagement (Blood pressure checks and more)
Our grocery distribution days allow residents to walk through our community room and have a grocery shopping experience. YOU can be the next booth at our grocery distribution!
