Yellow Circle Learning Platform is currently looking for a Fundraising/Sponsorship Headhunter to identify and approach suitable fundraising and sponsorship opportunities for the organization. Yellow Circle Inc is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in California with a mission to advance STEM education for disadvantaged and low-income youth through technology boot camps, mentorship programs, paid internship opportunities, and an online computer lab that provides hands-on platform for learning technology topics. Since 2014, Yellow Circle Learning Platform has served over 70,000 students from around the world. These students have successfully created over 130k learning projects using the online lab platform.

OUTLINE OF HEADHUNTER’S RESPONSIBILITIES: Headhunters will be tasked with finding fundraising opportunities such as grants and individuals/companies seeking to sponsor non profits focused in STEM and IT skill building.
Other primary responsibilities include the following:

• Coordinate with CEO to define necessary requirements for fundraising/sponsorship opportunities
• Send emails to passive candidates and follow up when necessary
• Browse grant and sponsorship sites for possible qualifying applications
• Advertise non profit to external networks
• Ask for referrals from current employees, acquaintances and industry professionals
• Conduct research on potential fundraising and sponsorship opportunities and recommend new/other opportunities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven work experience as a Headhunter, Recruiter or similar
• A bachelor's degree in human resource managements, psychology, sociology, communications, business administration, business economics or relevant field.
• Excellent communication, perception, persuasion abilities and customer service skills/experience (particularly when making cold calls and sending sponsorship request emails)
• Advanced knowledge of sourcing techniques
• Hands-on experience with sourcing tools
• Time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple open roles simultaneously
• Good decision-making skills

SUPPORT PLAN: Headhunters work with the direction of Navneet Grewal, the president of Yellow Circle.

TIME COMMITMENT: Headhunters work on call when contacted by Navneet Grewal. Hours depend on the agreed upon time commitment by both parties.
