Are you a person who 'gets' the importance of volunteerism? Curious about service with soul? Loves to create community? Wants to develop leadership - your own and others?

Looking for Coordinators for our volunteer program, called Transformation through Service. Our ideal is to have a small diverse team of volunteers who are co-leading our volunteers who are working around the US and the world.

Volunteering is important for individuals, communities and organizations. We believe that volunteers long for meaningful experiences where they can see, feel and know they are making a real difference. Our volunteer and internship program is teaching folks embodied, soulful leadership for their lives and these times.

Are you looking for a meaningful volunteer position? A longer commitment where we invest in you and you invest in us?

Things you'd get to learn and lead:

  • Screening, orienting, interviewing and training new volunteers.
  • Fielding and filling requests for specific volunteer needs.
  • Maintain a flourishing, vibrant, and engaged community of current and past volunteers at Shakti Rising.
  • Expand leadership curriculum and training outlines to meet the current needs of participants
  • Support staff in developing leadership of volunteer teams
We are looking for strong interpersonal and communication skills, technologically savvy (google platform, zoom Salesforce would be awesome, ActiveCampaign), creativity in design and problem solving, a self-initiated worker who also thrives in teams.

Description

Shakti Rising is active across the USA. We work with volunteers from all over the United States and beyond. We have three program areas: Transformational Recovery, Shakti Feminine University, and Transformation Through Service. Our three programs support women and the larger community to dive deeply into their own personal recovery, education, and leadership development. Our volunteer program is a leadership program, we are a living laboratory of leading from the feminine.
