Help the Valley Village Development Team with strategic outreach, recruitment and event preparation. Responsibilities include: public outreach, online research, social media posts, organizing files, putting together event goodie bags, and helping with our monthly events. Other projects may be assigned. Earn community service credits and enhance your resume and communication skills, while helping our non-profit.
Valley Village is a leading provider of a continuum of care for adults with developmental challenges. Through a partnership of families, professional staff, and community leaders, Valley Village operates neighborhood residential and day programs. As the Development Office Intern, you would help Valley Village raise money to run our 18 group homes and 3 day programs spread out across the San Fernando Valley.

Valley Village has provided services for adults with developmental disabilities in the San Fernando Valley for nearly 50 years. Our mission is to protect, foster, develop and advance the rights and interests of people with developmental disabilities. We manage 18 group homes and 3 day programs across the San Fernando Valley and have a variety of programs where you can make a difference as a volunteer either at one of our sites, or on one of our community outings around Los Angeles County. Since 1971, Valley Village, a 501(c)3 organization, has been a leader in building transformative programs that raise the standard of care for all people with developmental disabilities in the San Fernando Valley. With over 48 years of proven successes, our hallmark approach to a continuum of care for adults with developmental challenges continues to be an effective model for providing dignity, respect, and personal empowerment. Renowned throughout southern California for its dedicated staff, programming, and around-the-clock care, Valley Village serves over 400 men and woman with disabilities as a leader in the fostering, development, and advancement of rights and interest of people with developmental disabilities.
