Help Change Lives through Employment by Teaching a Job Readiness Class.

Chrysalis is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating a pathway to self-sufficiency for homeless and low-income individuals by providing the resources and support needed to find and retain employment. We are thrilled to announce the opening of our Orange County center coming this Fall 2018!

Our philosophy is that a steady job is the single most important step in a person’s transition out of poverty and onto a pathway to long-term self-sufficiency. Offering a hand up, rather than a hand out, Chrysalis empowers our clients to complete a self-directed job search.

YOU can make a real difference in the lives of the men and women in Orange County who are willing, ready, and able to become self-sufficient through employment.

Chrysalis volunteers play an integral role in empowering clients to build specific skills related to the job search process and instilling the self-esteem needed to succeed beyond the interview. We have multiple volunteer opportunities to teach a job readiness class to a group of eager and motivated individuals ready to learn and find work!

  • Class Facilitation requires a minimum weekly or bi-weekly commitment of 2 hours, either from 9:30 am-11:30 am or 1:15 pm - 3:15 pm
  • Training is provided
