Adventure awaits you!
The Adventure Race for Parkinson's is an exciting, fun-filled scavenger hunt in Ballard which supports the Northwest Chapter of the American Parkinson Disease Association. Teams solve riddles and complete silly challenges throughout the Ballard community to complete the scavenger hunt. Day starts at Trident Seafoods parking lot and ends at Peddler Brewing Company for a party and celebration. Funds raised go towards finding a cure and helping everyone impacted by Parkinson's disease live life to the fullest!
Volunteers play valuable roles with event check-in & registration, race challenge stops, event photography, social media, check-in & scoring post race, selling raffle tickets and supporting live auction, as well as event set up and clean up. Various shifts are available between 10:00am and 5:00pm. Please contact apaytosh@apdaparkinson.org with your interest and time availability and we will find a shift for you!

Description
The American Parkinson Disease Association is the country's largest grass roots organization serving the Parkinson's community.
Our core programs serve the Parkinson's community through education, support, and research. We provide education for patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers, as well as access to information and resources. We support our community through assistance programs like APDA Ride Ride Repay and the Caregiver's Day Off program. We strengthen the support group network and fund local activity classes. Lastly, we fund local research into the cause and cure for Parkinson's.
