Mission Statement
Project Green's Mission is to invest in our future via kids and children and to protect green space for a better tomorrow!
Description
Project Green, is a 501c3 non-profit in Atlanta, GA co-founded by two passionate women, Patrycja Siewert Towns and Kim Kreiss, whose mission is to invest in "A Green Tomorrow."
Project Green will develop and launch an annual "Back to Basics" Summer Camp program for underserved children and teenagers and kids in foster care. Back to Basics will teach kids and young people how to interact with one another focusing on building self-esteem and awareness of the environment by incorporating challenging and fun activities.
Additionally, Project Green will invest in and protect green space initially within the Southeastern United States with plans for expansion into other regions.
Our goal is to raise $400,000 to $500,000 initially to then launch a benefit music concert which will in turn generate the funds we will need to successfully launch the summer camp program as well as future music benefit concerts. Our goal is to be a self funding non-profit so any and all donations will help us get that much closer to our goal of helping send kids to eco summer camps.
