Volunteers will teach basketball skills and rules to youth participants. They emphasize good sportsmanship and fair play, submit coach ethics and team rosters, assist with travel for athletes, and attend meetings for citywide basketball leagues.
Location: 12200 Clairemont Mesa Blvd, San Diego, CA 92124 (858-571-1394)
Volunteers are needed from 5pm/6pm to 8pm.
This volunteer opportunity is appropriate for families with youth 12 years of age and under, and teens 13-17 years of age (with permission of a parent/guardian).

Park and recreation professionals and volunteers host hundreds of community events each year and provide safe places for thousands of children to go after school. City employees and volunteers take great pride to enrich the lives of others through quality parks and programs, designed and developed so that people of all ages, abilities and income levels have the chance to participate in excellent recreational opportunities.
