We are looking for volunteers to help us make a difference for those overcoming homelessness in our community. At The Nest Collective, we collect gently used furniture and household goods and provide them to individuals and families overcoming homelessness or escaping domestic violence. We have several ongoing volunteer opportunities at our warehouse in Springfield, Virginia.
Opportunities include:
- sorting or cleaning donations
- preparing kitchen and bathroom kits for clients
- painting/staining furniture
- laundering bedding and towel donations at your home
- preparing client orders
- picking up donations of small household items
- moving help on delivery days

The Nest Collective is a 501(c)(3) organization that provides furniture and household goods to those overcoming homelessness in our community. We strive to give every client the comforts of home.
Description
At the Nest Collective we collect gently used furniture and household items and provide them at no cost to those overcoming homelessness, domestic violence and crisis in our community. Volunteers are always needed to help with sorting donations, cleaning and painting furniture, preparing client orders and picking up and delivery furniture and household goods.
