Volunteer for Zero Waste at Boulder's Jaipur Literature Festival, on Sept 21-22-23!
ORGANIZATION: Eco-Cycle
Please visit the new page to apply.
Boulder's Jaipur Literature Festival is going for Zero Waste this year at the Boulder Public Library on September 21, 22 & 23!
Free and accessible to everyone, the Festival invites you to join in examining the human experience through the reflections and imaginations of distinguished contemporary authors from across the globe. In an uplifting celebration of the mind and heart, writers and thinkers from the Americas, Asia, Africa, and Europe will take part in provocative conversations about life and society, economics and the arts, equity, freedom, and the care of our planet.
We will be working hard to divert most of the event's waste from the landfill and to make this first Zero Waste effort a huge success! We need volunteers like YOU to help out!
Volunteering at a Zero Waste Event is fun and easy. You'll work as a Zero Waste Station "Goalie", making sure event-goers put their waste in the right place. You'll also help out with setting up or breaking down zero waste stations. This is a great opportunity to educate the public about Zero Waste, while attending a fun event!
There are multiple shifts available during the days and times:
Friday - 3 to 6:30pm
Saturday - 10:45am - 7:30pm
Sunday - 11:45am to 5:30pm
