Share your love of art, crafts, theater, or anything allowing creative expression! The Boys & Girls Club Bethel Learning Center site in Spanaway is seeking volunteers to help with their art programs. BGC art programs enable youth to develop their creativity and cultural awareness through knowledge and appreciation of the visual arts, crafts, performing arts and creative writing.

Duties:

  • Help teach basic art lessons to teens.
  • Art lessons could be in a wide variety of different areas such as painting, theater, crafts, photography, drawing, etc.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of some type of art or craft.
  • Patience working with teens.
  • Punctual and dependable.
  • Minimum of 19 years of age with HS Diploma/GED/Equivalent
  • Able to pass a background check and national sex offender registry check.
Time Commitment:
  • One hour, one day per week. M,T, W or Th 3:30 - 5:00 p.m.
  • 30 minute Volunteer Orientation
  • 30 minute online training
  • Minimum 6 week commitment
