The Boys & Girls Club Bethel Learning Center site is seeking a volunteer to assist with their Healthy Lifestyles program for teens. These programs help youth demonstrate improved healthy habits and decision-making skills, and show a strong commitment to leading a healthier lifestyle. This volunteer will help empower teens to make healthful choices.
Position: Healthy Lifestyle Program Assistant
Summary of Position and Duties:
- Assist staff with their Junior Chef Program.
- Teach basic culinary skills.
- Help Club members learn about nutrition and how to make healthy choices.
- Culinary and nutrition background a plus.
- Patience working with teens.
- Punctual and dependable.
- Minimum of 18 years of age with HS Diplolma/GED/Equivalent.
- Able to pass a background check and national sex offender registry check.
- Monday and/or Wednesday
- 3:30-4:30 p.m.
- 30 minute Volunteer Orientation
- 30 minute online training
- Minimum 6 week commitment

Is your talent in planning special events? Participate in the Legacy of HOPE, Treasure Hunters, Don and Helen Murphy Memorial Golf Tournament, Dining with the stars Celebrity Chef Gala or a variety of other events.
