Here are a few of the wild rescued parrots we care for every day
SoCal Parrot is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that rescues and rehabilitates injured and orphaned wild parrots. Our facility is located in Jamul, but we rescue throughout southern California.
SCP is seeking a motivated, enthusiastic animal lover who can help run our Facebook page. This role includes creating and posting content, generating new followers, and replying to comments and messages. This role requires a strong understanding of our work and history, which we will teach you all about as part of your training. Additionally, this role is both virtual and physical, as you will need to be at our facility occasionally to keep up on everything we are doing. We expect this role to take up between 4 to 7 hours per week, depending on the content and interaction from the public.
SoCal Parrot was founded to bridge the gap of care and consideration for wild, naturalized parrots and to be a resource for wild parrot rehabilitation, education and protection.
