Seeking a Musical Group Leader at our Adult Day Health Center in Kent!

Share your musical talents with seniors and younger adults with disabilities: play guitar, piano, ukulele, or other instrument or lead a sing along.

We are looking for energetic, outgoing, and patient volunteers to lead 45 minute interactive and engaging musical activity groups for our clients. Group sizes can range from 10 - 24 clients. Any style of music is enjoyed by our clients, but we especially like familiar sing along songs or familiar classical movie score type music.

Experience leading musical groups is preferred. We also are looking for volunteers with musical talent that enjoy working with seniors or younger adults with disabilities in a group setting.

Volunteers visit for a minimum of 1 hour every other week for at least 3 months (longer term commitment is preferred). Our programs operate on Mondays - Fridays from 8:30 am - 5:00 pm. The senior wellness program is from 9 - 12 am and the program for younger adults with disabilities is from 2 - 5 pm.

Full Life Care is the largest Adult Day Health organization in the Northwest. Our programs function much like senior centers -- places where older adults and adults with disabilities can socialize and enjoy group activities. We help participants maintain an independent and dignified lifestyle by enhancing their physical, social and cognitive functioning.
