The 29th annual AIDS WAlk Wisconsin & 5K Run is approaching, and we could use your help to make the event a success! This event is ARCW's largest fundraising event. Through your support, you are helping to keep ARCW at the nation's forefront of HIV prevention, care and treatment.
Get involved by participating at the walk as a volunteer. We are looking for volunteers to help with the following tasks:
Parking Coordinator
Duties: Direct traffic into the designated Summerfest parking lots and help keep handicapped parking spots free for those who need them. Assist participants in parking areas and direct any issues to the appropriate contact.
Shift: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM | Need 8-10 volunteers
Clean-up Crew
Duties: Assist in taking down and organizing event supplies and equipment on the Summerfest Grounds as well as on the Walk & Run route.
Shift 1: 12:45 PM- 3:30 PM | Need 15-20 volunteers
Shift 2: 2:45 PM - 5:00 PM | Need 15-20 volunteers
Walk Finish Line Cheerleader
Duties: Welcome back and cheer on walkers as they cross the finish line. Provide water and snacks to participants as they finish the Walk. Bring the energy and fun!
Shift: 1:00 PM - 3:30 PM | Need: 15-20 volunteer
Beer Sample Service
Duties: Check participant IDs and serve beer products ***Must be 21+
Shift: 9:30 AM- 12:30 PM | Need: 5 volunteers
