Community Based Mentoring
: Volunteers are matched with a child to be that kiddo's mentor and friend. Volunteers commit to a minimum of one year, spending time with the child two to four times each month. Big Brothers Big Sisters staff members support the mentors and the match relationship, providing assistance, counsel and guidance. Volunteers must be 21 years of age, have a valid driver's license and auto insurance, and be able to pass an extensive background check. There is also an thorough interview portion within the enrollment process. This is our traditional mentoring program for which Big Brothers Big Sisters is best and most known for.

Currently we are in need of both men and women to volunteer as Big Brothers and Big Sisters. Our demand for Big Brothers is higher - because we receive many referrals for young boys to enroll.

Consider making a difference in a local child's for the better - changing their future, forever.
