The Milltown Rescue Squad is accepting applications for New or Experienced EMS Providers in anticipation of our October orientation.

Members provide EMS and Rescue service in a progressive and well respected EMS agency 24/7. If you are interested in jumpstarting a new career in EMS or want to continue serving as an EMT, apply today!

Members are given invaluable opportunities to expand their knowledge of medicine through hands on experience, in house continuing education and on-site training at local hospitals and other agencies.

Members are required to attend monthly meetings and drill as well as commit to being on duty for upwards of 48 hours a month.

Mission Statement

The primary function of the Milltown Rescue Squad shall be to provide emergency rescue, first aid, and ambulance services to residents of and visitors to its service area and other areas when requested.

Description

We are the Milltown Rescue Squad. We are a volunteer Emergency Medical Service organization that serves the Borough of Milltown and six (6) continuous miles of the New Jersey Turnpike, including the Joyce Kilmer Service Area and District 5 Maintenance Yard.

The Squad operates 24/7 and responds to roughly 1100 calls per year. These calls range from Medical Emergencies to Motor Vehicle Accidents to standing by at community events such as the Middlesex County Fair in August.
