Serlo Education offers and develops high quality learning materials - intuitive explanations, courses, videos, exercises and sample solutions - on our webpages serlo.org (German) and en.serlo.org (English). Students can use these to learn according to their needs and at their own pace - completely free of charge. Serlo is supported by volunteering authors, software developers and project managers inspired by our collective vision: improving and personalising learning experiences for everyone - for free. Together we are building the Wikipedia of Learning.

Your responsibilities as a Language Coordinator:

As language coordinator, you will help to build a new language version of Serlo in your mother tongue and join our team of existing language coordinators worldwide. Your responsibilities include a combination of the following activities:

• Translate the Serlo interface, important Serlo pages and basic communication material

• Build a team of translators, teachers and content providers for your language

• Develop digital learning content in a subject that will help people in your community

• Conduct research on educational organisations and identify potential partners

• Establish partnerships with education NGOs, universities and social enterprises

• Coordinate your work with Serlo Global and other language teams
