The event is a Chester County First Responders BBQ Cook-Off, hosted by the Crime Victims' Center of Chester County. Teams will be made up of Fire, Police, or EMS personnel from all over Chester County. The teams will compete in five categories. Wings, Pulled Pork, Chicken, Ribs, and a specialty category. The food will be judged and winners will receive trophies in each category. The teams with the most points in the five categories will be named Grand Champion and Reserve Grand Champion.
This event is gaining extreme popularity and interest, so we are seeking community volunteers to help us set up the event, assist with event registration, sell registration, clean up, help navigate attendees, sell t-shirts, and other miscellaneous tasks.
This will be a new, fun, exciting opportunity for all of Chester County to get together to support a great cause, BBQ, and Chester County's First Responders! Those who volunteer will receive complimentary admission to the event, which includes BBQ sampling of 14 teams!
