We need volunteers to assist with all aspects of the annual Walk to End Alzheimer's on Sunday, October 7, 2018. Options include course monitor, food booth attendant, registration, parking assistant, water station attendant, finish line cheer squad and more! This is a fun, outdoor, family event honoring those with Alzheimer's and their caregivers. There is entertainment, food and kid activities. Participating teams walk either a 1 or 3-mile course through beautiful Corporate Woods. It's a fantastic event! To sign up or learn more go to alzwalkkc.org

Mission Statement
To eliminate Alzheimer's disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health. Our vision is a world without Alzheimer's.
Description
The Alzheimer’s Association was founded by individuals like you who saw the need for an organization to unite caregivers, provide support to those facing Alzheimer’s and advance research. More than 30 years later, the Alzheimer’s Association is the leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer’s care, support, and research.
Our volunteers have been, and continue to be, critical to expanding our reach across communities nationwide to provide care and support to those impacted by Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. By working together, we are moving closer to our vision of a world without Alzheimer’s disease.
