Girl Scouts Gold Award ceremony

Would you like to help a girl change the world?

The Girl Scout Gold Award is the highest and most prestigious award a Girl Scout can earn. Girls undertake large-scale projects on issues they care about and that effect their local, national or international community. The projects typically happen over the course of a year and involve identifying an issue, investigating its impact, getting help, planning, presenting, taking action and educating.

Our Gold Award Committee members ensure that girls have the tools and support they need to complete these steps and earn this distinct honor. Committee members can help with interviews, serve as mentors, help plan the annual Gold Award ceremony, attend annual committee meetings, and more. This is an ideal position for individuals interested in mentoring, interviewing and advising high school age girls.
