The Illumignossi Project (TIP) ( www.tip.ngo) illuminates life’s journey through innovative lampmaking workshops that share wisdom, create connections and inspire. Through a process that fosters conversation and community, participants create beautiful, illuminated paper lamps that embody intention and meaning, while exploring and nurturing their inner light so they can reflect and share it with others. From cradle to grave, diverse initiatives shed light on life's challenging passages or celebrate its important milestones.
While our long-term strategy focuses on funding through programmatic revenues as well as funding from a related for-profit, at this stage we still need grant funding from foundations or angel funding, especially for development and operations. We have a great story to tell, we are an innovative nonprofit with out-of-the box ideas, we are impactful and we're great to work with!
If you are a creative, out-of-the-box thinker, have experience in grant writing and/or a desire to help us obtain funding, and you're a good communicator - we'd love to hear from you.

The Illumiginossi Project (TIP) illuminates life’s journey and spreads light through innovative lamp making workshops that share wisdom, create connections and inspire. From cradle to grave, we have different initiatives that shed light and provide comfort for life's dark, challenging passages or honor and celebrate its important milestones. Through a process that fosters conversation and community, our participants create beautiful, illuminated paper lamps that embody intention and meaning, while exploring and nurturing their inner light so they can reflect and share it with others. The lamps serve as a long-lasting beacon, each lamp a unique expression of its creator’s intention to bring more light to the world.
TIP is a young, entrepreneurial nonprofit that seeks sustainability through program revenues, utilizing a subscription model; and also through ongoing donations from a sister for-profit, Illumignossi, which sells lamp kits, lamps and illuminated products and donates half its profits to TIP. We hope to be a model for other startup nonprofits.
