A surgical supply volunteer is a vital link in the Operating Room supply chain. A volunteer will stock and organize the surgical supply room as medical supplies are delivered to the department. A perfect spot for a "behind the scenes" volunteer who enjoys interacting with professional hospital staff. Attention to detail and accuracy are needed to be successful in the physically active position.

Volunteers do not need healthcare experience but must feel comfortable in a medical setting. Free self and free valet parking are available. TB screening, flu shot (in flu season) and a criminal background check are required and are available at no cost. Volunteers wear a volunteer jacket which is purchased from the volunteer services department for $22.

Position is available on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon12 noon - 3pm.
