Volunteers are needed to assist with this event!
Location: Willie Henderson Sports Complex, 1035 S 45th St, San Diego, CA 92113
Date and time: Wednesday, December 5th, 2018 from 5:00pm-8:00pm (*training will be from 5:00pm-5:30pm)
This volunteer opportunity is ideal for teens ages 13 to 17 (with permission from a parent or guardian) and adults ages 18 and older.
This event will NOT be cancelled if it rains.

Description
San Diego's Park and Recreation Department is responsible for overseeing nearly 40,000 acres of developed and undeveloped open space, more than 340 parks including Balboa Park, Mission Trails Regional Park, and Mission Bay Park; 25 miles of shoreline from Sunset Cliffs to La Jolla; 13 pools; 3 public golf complexes; 56 recreation centers and more. Park and recreation professionals and volunteers host hundreds of community events each year and provide safe places for thousands of children to go after school. City employees and volunteers take great pride to enrich the lives of others through quality parks and programs, designed and developed so that people of all ages, abilities and income levels have the chance to participate in excellent recreational opportunities.
