DPATH Leader Training
Help those with diabetes learn to manage their condition and take charge of their health!
Diabetes Personal Action Toward Health (DPATH) is an interactive workshop that helps people learn to manage diabetes.
BECOME A DPATH LEADER
- No teaching experience is necessary
- You must attend all four days of training and complete two practice teach activities
- You will be certified to co-lead workshops in your community
- There is no charge for the training but you must commit to leading at least one workshop in the next year
- You must be associated with an agency that has a license to provide DPATH
ADVANCED REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED

WHO WE ARE
Detroit Area Agency on Aging (DAAA) is a nonprofit agency that serves older persons, adults with disabilities, and caregivers residing in Detroit, Hamtramck, Harper Woods, Highland Park & the 5 Grosse Pointes. We are one of 16 Area Agencies on Aging in the state of Michigan and 622 in the nation.
WHAT WE DOWe assist older adults, adults with disabilities, and caregivers by removing social, economic, physical, and psychological barriers and creating aging-friendly neighborhoods through nutrition, health and wellness, and senior independence.
