Relay for Pre-K is a brand new event benefit the Child & Family Network Centers' free, high-quality, bilingual early education, health services, and family services for low income children in Alexandria. Relay for Pre-K is a 12 lap (3 mile) "relay" around the track. It cost CFNC $12,000 to educate one child for a year, so we’re walking around the around the track twelve times. We are seeking a face painter to make the even more magical for our younger guests.

Our mission is to provide caring, high-quality free education and related services to at-risk children and families in their own neighborhoods to prepare and empower them for success in school and life.
Description
We provide free and fully accredited preschool education for children living in poverty in Northern Virginia. We also provide free family support, literacy, job training, and health programs to the parents of our students, giving children what they need most: strong, capable families. Currently, we serve nearly 200 children and their families each year at six program sites throughout Alexandria and Arlington.
