The Blood Drive and/or Donor Center Ambassador Volunteer is an integral and valuable member of the blood collection team. Volunteer tasks include greeting donors, ensuring refreshments are well stocked, and monitoring donors for post-donation reactions.

While NJ Blood Services blood drives are held throughout the state, volunteers are assigned to mobile blood drives within a reasonable proximity of their home. Drives run seven days a week, therefore volunteers are needed on weekends, as well as week days/evenings.

Blood drives are held at high schools, colleges and universities, at churches & synagogues, in corporations, and in community venues. Volunteer positions are also available at our blood centers in New Brunswick, Scotch Plains and Paramus.

The first step is to apply at the following: https://www.volgistics.com/appform/212944197.
Once complete, please email Sharon Zetts at szetts@nybc.org. A one- hour training session via Zoom will then be scheduled with you. Questions? Call Sharon at 732-850-8906.
