Join IRC at Atlantic Dunes Park in Delray Beach for the International Coastal Cleanup. We will have a check-in table set up at the pavilion located along the boardwalk. We will be working to enhance this beautiful park by removing damaging invasive plants, planting a variety of natives and picking up trash along the beach. This event is in partnership with Keep Palm Beach County Beautiful and the City of Delray Beach. We will provide all tools, gloves and materials necessary as well as light refreshments. We ask that volunteers wear closed toed shoes, sunscreen, and a hat. All participants will receive a free t-shirt at check in!

Parking: Stop by our check-in table for a free parking pass for the morning before you park! Ample parking is located west of the park, across the street.

Thank you to Impact 100 PBC for making this event happen!

About The Institute for Regional Conservation

Location:

100 East Linton Boulevard, Suite 302B, Delray Beach, FL 33483, US

Mission Statement

A private non-profit organization, The Institute for Regional Conservation (IRC) is dedicated to the protection, restoration, and long-term management of biodiversity on a regional basis, and to the prevention of regional extinctions of rare plants, animals and ecosystems.

Description

Based in Florida, USA, IRC works on conservation research and action throughout South Florida, the Caribbean and beyond. Our work is premised on an innovative idea of conservation that seeks to protect and restore viable populations of all plant and animal species within a region, rather than simply focusing on charismatic animals or plants with narrow global ranges.
