Civil Air Patrol Public Affairs Officer

The squadrons of California Wing, Civil Air Patrol are looking for experienced media and marketing photographers to donate their time and expertise as a part of the all-volunteer United States Air Force Auxiliary.

Our media & marketing photographers work in the public relations arena, providing high quality images for our social media platforms, press releases, and other internal and external media products that help lift the local and state-wide public awareness in the missions & members of Civil Air Patrol. If you’re up for the task, Civil Air Patrol offers ordinary citizens unique training and service opportunities in your local community.

Butte County Composite Squadron 95 meets most Tuesday evenings at 6:00 pm at Spring Valley Elementary School - 2771 Pentz Rd, Oroville, California, CA 95965.


  • Skill with photography, social media (prior PR experience helpful)
  • Your own camera equipment (DSLR-quality capability preferred)
  • Great people & communication skills;
  • Aged 18 or older;
  • Ability to pass a background check;
  • Enthusiasm for community service.

We invite you visit a weekly squadron meeting. You'll get a chance to meet some of our members who will discuss the organization, provide you with information and answer any questions you might have about the Civil Air Patrol.
