Objective

The copywriter creates advertising copy to promote FACTR services by presenting information in an appealing, informative, concise and easy-to-understand manner by performing the following duties.

Essential Functions

  1. Organizes workload for efficient time management and meets multiple schedule deadlines on time.
  2. Writes other types of documents such as news releases, letters of response, personal interviews, items for other departments, instruction manuals, etc.
  3. Develops and maintains a library of current reference materials.
  4. Reviews copy using checklist and format copy according to department style guide and checks questionable details.
  5. Maintains accurate information in files.
  6. Proofreads and edits as necessary. Considers copyright laws such as registered and trademarked symbols, country of origin, and material construction.
  7. Assists team leader and other copywriters as needed.

Required Education & Experience
  1. Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and editing skills.
  2. Previous experience as a copywriter preferred
