Mission Statement
Our mission is to empower through music, production, arts and services. We aim to build character, leadership and social-emotional skills in youth and young adults, ages 14-21, while cultivating their creativity and talents through the arts.
Description
e.M.P.A.S. is founded on the principle of empowering our young people through music, production, arts & services. To achieve this, our approach embodies five key elements which shape our presence and impact in our community: E ngagement, M entorship, P arent Involvement, A cademic and Behavior Support, and S ocial Emotional Learning.
Through our programs and community partnership activities, eMPAS works to strengthen the social and academic development of youth and young adults, developing creative minds, a sense of understanding and compassion for others, and the courage to act on their own beliefs and achieve their dreams. We stress the total development of each child -- spiritually, morally, intellectually, socially, emotionally, and physically.
