Volunteers will be assisting in our Digital Choice Supermarket-Style Food Pantry program. This is adignified way of helping those in need of food. We will assist the clients as they choose food items of preference. Volunteers will help in assisting with the food item requested and the produce section and assist the supervisor with stock and deliveries.
Looking for those who are able to help during the hours of 9am to 5 pm Monday thru Friday.

Reaching-Out Community Services, Inc., is a 501c (3) non-profit volunteer program. We operate an emergency food pantry to bring relief to the struggling individuals and families in the Brooklyn community.
Reaching-Out Community Services operates as a supermarket- style program. It is designed so that our recipients are able to select food items based on their dietary needs. This program is one-of-a-kind in the Brooklyn area. There are several advantages for this type of this food pantry. It is more dignifying for the patrons who come to this program to get help with food. Instead of being handed a bag of random food goods, they are able to shop for themselves and select food, based on their dietary needs. This system has also been cost effective since we are able to receive and purchase food that will be consumed and not remain on our shelves to the point of expiration.There are many other programs we provide.
