We are currently expanding our Urgent Care team at Kaiser Permanente La Mesa Medical Offices.

In the urgent care setting, volunteers assist staff and patients by offering comfort items like blankets and water. Keeping patients informed of wait times. Helping to manage urgent care lines. Assisting patients with wheelchair transport and also providing escort assistance to the different departments.

This opportunity is great for those interested in the health care field, but also for those who have a servant heart and love helping others in need.

Currently filling 3 or 4 hours shifts Monday-Friday between 9:30am - 8:00pm. Saturday and Sundays between 8:30am-5pm. No medical experience is necessary.

Please note that this is not an internship or shadowing opportunity. We do ask our volunteers to commit to one shift, same day and time each week for the length of 1 year.
