We are looking for a few amazing volunteers, 55 years and older, to provide basic tutoring and mentoring to children in Northern Nevada. These volunteers are placed in elementary schools and a few other sites where there is supervision and an identified need (by a teacher or counselor).

Description
Seniors in Service administers three programs; Foster Grandparent, Senior Companion and the Seniors in Service Respite Voucher Program. Foster Grandparent and Senior Companion volunteers are 55 years and older and provide mentoring/tutoring to at-risk youth OR basic social support to seniors over the age of 60.
The Seniors in Service Respite Voucher Program assists live-in caregivers of someone over the age of 60 who is not safe when left alone.
